Brand Focus: Bite Beauty

November 06, 2015

I haven't really delved too deep into the Bite Beauty world, but I know that their products are highly raved about throughout the beauty blogging world. Bite Beauty is a really innovative brand with all the lip products created so you could technically eat them. Yes... you heard correct, eat them. They are made with food-grade ingredients, so if you were really hungry on a deserted island... you could actually nom a lipstick. If you want to hear more about the products I own from Bite Beauty and my thoughts, keep reading!

In my collection I (sadly) only own four things. These babies include a Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Sucre, a Luminous Creme Lipstick in Fig, a Fruit Scrub in Whipped Cherry and their famous Agave Lip Mask. All their products are packaged in very chic and simplistic charcoal coloured packaging. It feels high quality and doesn't feel cheap in the slightest.

Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Sucre: This lipstick is in the form of a lip crayon, but don't let that fool you. It is full pigment yet still managing to feel creamy and not overly drying. This shade in particular is a darker warm toned pinky red shade. It's gorgeous and extremely versatile. As a matte formula, it does tend to last on my lips for a good 4/5 hours, providing a slight stain during wear.

Luminous Creme Lipstick in Fig: Trust me to choose two lip products that are so damn similar in shade. This lipstick is a slightly lighter, less red version of Sucre. It has a really nice glossy finish and feels moisturising on the lips. This a perfect my lips but better kind of shade. This shade has a lot of pigment, but still allows for your natural lip to show through.

Fruit Scrub in Whipped Cherry*: First things first, the smell. If you love that cherry scent you would adore this. I am not the biggest fan of the smell, but I can bear with it. This scrub is less abrasive in comparison to the Lush Lip Scrubs and feels like it helps to moisturise while you scrub. I do like how it doesn't hurt my lips but still gives my lips a nice polished feel and look.

Agave Lip Mask*: This is their cult product, with so many beauty bloggers loving it and swearing it is amazing. I really do think it is an amazing moisturising lip product. It has a slight vanilla smell that isn't overpowering or offensive in the slightest. This balm is EXTREMELY thick, during Winter months this is the biggest b**** to push through the tiny hole. Best thing about this mask? I can apply a thin layer over my lips before bed and I can wake up and STILL feel it on my lips working. It hasn't disappeared and I think that is bomb!

Overall, I have a soft spot for Bite Beauty. I think the quality is amazing and the actual though put into product development is fantastic. All four products I own have worked great for my lips! You can purchase your Bite Beauty products from Sephora or Ry.com.au

  1. I don't even own any bite beauty products and I've already developed a soft spot for bite beauty! I kept putting off my purchase because I feel bad that my 50 other lip products are lying around unused. One day.. one day..
