Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette | Review + Swatches
November 28, 2016
Rumour has it that this is coming back soon, so I really wanted to get some swatches up and tell you guys my honest opinion on the Too Faced Sweet Peach eyeshadow palette that orignally launched a couple months ago. If you like to read about my thoughts, then keep reading...
Firstly, the packaging of the Sweet Peach is phenomenal. It shares the same design as their original Chocolate Bar palette and is a sturdy, metal design. I love the ombre effect on the packaging and I think it is super adorable and fun! Definitely an A+ in terms of packaging and design!
Whilst I do love to bust this out, I definitely don't think it is the best quality. The colours are gorgeous and I love the mixture of lighter shades and darker shades, but I think the formulation is a little bit hit and miss.
There are definitely a couple stand out shades for me in the kit incuding Luscious (top row, second from left), Puree and Summer Yum (bottom row, third and second from right) and the unique Bellini shade (middle row, third from right). These shades are apply really beautifully and feel creamy and smooth to touch.
In saying that, there are a couple shades that are definitely a miss for me including Bless Her Heart (top row, third from right), Talk Derby To Me (bottom row, first shade from right) and Delectable (middle row, first shade from right). I find that these shades feel really dry and chalky and don't apply as well or as pigmented as others in the palette which is unfortunate.
I do think you can definitely create some gorgeous everyday looks, but the darker colours really help to smoke them out and turn them into more glam looks.
Final Thoughts:
I originally bought this palette because it was limited edition and I am all about those warm, peachy tones. Admittedly, I do use this regularly because I find it really easy to create full looks using this one palette but I don't think it is the best of the best eyeshadow palettes even with the really amazing couple of gems within it. If you love a good warm eye or are a die-hard eyeshadow palette lover, than you will love this, otherwise, I don't think it is a necessary purchase for your collection.
Have you tried the Too Faced Sweet Peach eyeshadow palette before? What were your opinions on it?
Til next time...

I haven't got this one but kind of glad I didn't now. Some of them do look quite chalky. Glad you can get some use out of it though!

Completely agree! I reach for this often BUT it's always the same shades (luscious and those warm mattes, etc). I haven't even touched the purples or other 'colours'. The formula is so bad on Talk derby to me and delectable! I don't regret the purchase, but I wouldn't wholeheartedly recommend it!
