Current Skincare Routine ft. Skinstitut!

Now I often don't talk too much about my skincare routine which mainly comes down to the fact I judge skincare products quite harshly. I definitely do not have the easiest skin to work with - acne, scarring, pigmentation and texture. Yep, hit with the bad skin stick multiple times.
Just before my wedding last year, so well over 3 months ago, I was introduced to the brand Skinstitut and was luckily gifted a customised skincare routine to try by them. An Australian brand, Skinstitut was founded in 2008 and has a HUGE variety of products to help with different skin concerns with all products retailing for only $45!

Even Blend Serum
This serum is a very light weight and cooling. This really improved the hydration and plump feeling of my skin. I only applied this every night after cleansing and you honestly don't need much so I have so much still to go in this tube! This also works at smoothing the texture of the skin and reducing any inflammation of the skin.
Moisture Defence - Oily Skin
Probably one of my favourite products in my collection, this moisturiser has been specially created for oily skin to give it the right amount of moisture and hydration. I used this moisturiser morning and night to ensure my skin was contentiously hydrated without clogging pores like other moisturisers tend to do on my skin.
L-Lactic Cleanser
I LOVE this cleanser! It feels so good on my skin and makes everything feel so cleansed without giving it that tight squeaky clean feeling. I use this with my Clarisonic at night for a good deep cleanser, otherwise I use it more gently with my fingers in the morning.
Glycolic Scrub 14%
This exfoliator has an amazing consistency. It is gritty enough to get in there, but really quite fine so that it doesn't feel harsh and abrasive on my face like other cleansers are (I'm looking at you, St Ives...). They don'y recommend you use it too often due to the glycolic acid, so I tend to use it every second or third day if I feel like my skin really needs some TLC.
Since using this routine my skin has come leaps and bounds. It has never looked as good as it has been since before I hit puberty! I still have a lot of work to go, but I definitely can see the positive impact that these Skinstitut products have had. The number of breakouts I have had has decreased significantly, my oiliness is much more controlled and manageable and texture has improved significantly.
I'm thinking I might do a switcharoo with some products next time around as I would love to treat my skin to other magical Skinstitut products. Have you tried Skinstitut products before? What do you recommend?

I've been using the Moisture Defense Ultra Dry and LOVE IT! I need to buy more. I think I might start with that Lactic Acid cleanser. Great review.

DeleteI have a few Skinsitut prods as well and absolutely love them! Such an amazing, effective brand. I love the Glycolic scrub and have recently started using the Lactic cleanser which I'm liking! I also like the Glycolic cleanser, I find it pretty gentle but effective. I really want to try their moisturisers!

Yes! Its one of those brands that just work, all about results. I want to try some more products!
